Geoff Brown – General Manager

Now in his 15th year in baseball, Geoff is an original member of the BlueClaws management.  In addition to working at the ballpark, Geoff is currently on the board of directors for several local community organizations.  Prior to joining the BlueClaws, he spent three years with the Norwich (CT) Navigators and three years with the Trenton Thunder.  Geoff lives in Manasquan with his wife, Suzanne, their son, Jake and their daughter, Emma.

Rich Mozingo – Assistant General Manager

This is Rich's fourth season with the BlueClaws and his 17th season in professional baseball.  After spending his first season in Port Charlotte, Florida he moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where he spent the next nine years.  He then worked four seasons in South Carolina before coming to Lakewood.  He has a marketing degree from James Madison University and currently lives in Freehold with his wife Tracy and their 2 sons, Lucas and Alex.

Brandon Marano – Assistant General Manager - Operations

Brandon is entering his ninth season with the BlueClaws.  He is responsible for the BlueClaws baseball operations, the management of FirstEnergy Park, and the game day operation. Brandon also oversees the BlueClaws Special Events Department.  In addition to his operations responsibilities, he is a member of the BlueClaws corporate sales team.  Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Rutgers University. He is a diehard fan of the Jets and Rutgers University Football, where he is a season ticket holder.  Originally from Asbury Park, NJ, he currently resides in Lakewood with his fiancée Amber and their two dogs Ralphie and Buca.

Bob Halsey – Controller

This is Bob's fourth year with the BlueClaws and he loves every minute here. Bob holds a BS in accounting and an MBA with a finance concentration from Monmouth University. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Bob and his wife Cathy, live in Lincroft. Their daughter, Christine, and her husband, Andy, live in London, England.

Brendan Geary – Concessions Manager

Brendan enters his third season with the BlueClaws as a Concessions manager. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Communications. He is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and also enjoys the beach, hiking and taking new adventures in his free time. Brendan currently resides in Lakewood with his cats Sage and Selina.

Chris Tafrow – Director of Food and Beverage Services

Chris enters his seventh season with the Lakewood BlueClaws holding the position of Director of Food and Beverage Services. He earned his Bachelor's degree in finance from Seton Hall University in 2004. Chris was born and raised in Toms River and currently resides in Hazlet with his girlfriend Christine, and dog Bently. He enjoys playing drums, surfing, and spending time in New York City

Dan DeYoung – Director of Ticket Sales

This is Dan's fifth year in Minor League Baseball and his fourth with the BlueClaws. Dan is responsible for arranging client entertainment and season seat packages for BlueClaws games. Dan is a 2003 graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore where he was the Captain of the men's cross country team. An Avid Journey fan, Dan currently lives in Matawan and enjoys reading and surfing whenever time permits.

Greg Giombarrese – Media and Public Relations Manager

Greg returns to Lakewood for a second season after serving as the Media & Public Relations Assistant in 2007. A 2006 graduate of Fordham University, he began his broadcasting career at WFUV, broadcasting Fordham baseball, basketball, and football games. He has also worked for USOpen.org Radio, the ESPN trivia show “Stump the Schwab,” and ABC Sports Radio. An avid Yankees and horse racing fan, Greg is also a professional miniature golfer.

The 2009 season will be Jimmy Mac's sixth season with the BlueClaws.  Jim graduated from Springfield College in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in sports management. While at Springfield, he frequently volunteered with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and worked at various athletic events on campus. Born and raised in Matawan, Jim has also worked for the American Hockey League and ESPN. He currently resides in Belmar.

Jon Muldowney – Ticket Sales Manager

Jon Muldowney enters his first season as a Ticket Sales Manger with the BlueClaws after spending last year as a Junior Associate for the Reading Phillies. A proud native of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Jon earned his degree in Leisure and Sports Studies from Kutztown University where he played Defensive Back for the Golden Bears football team. A huge Phillies and Notre Dame football fan, Jon now lives in Toms River and is excited to be living close to the beach in New Jersey and for the 2009 BlueClaws’ season.

Julie Goldberg – Group Sales Coordinator

The 2009 season marks Julie’s second full season with the BlueClaws.  She spent the 2007 season as an intern in the media and community relations departments.  Prior to working with the BlueClaws, Julie completed internships with both the Hagerstown Suns and Bowie Baysox baseball teams.  She is an Ohio University graduate with a degree in journalism and a minor in history.  A native of Maryland, Julie is an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.

Lisa Carone – Special Events Manager

Lisa will be entering her fourth season in minor league baseball. She joined the BlueClaws in May of the 2006 season as an intern after graduating from Wagner College, with a degree in marketing and minor in Spanish. While at Wagner she worked for The Late Show with David Letterman.  At the BlueClaws, Lisa is responsible for all special events, as well as the internship program. She is an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Duke basketball. Lisa is a life-long resident of Point Pleasant Beach, and is looking forward to the 2009 baseball season!

Mike Ryan – Director of Marketing

Mike is a 1994 graduate of Canisius College in Buffalo.  He has been with BlueClaws since their 2001 inaugural season.  Mike's responsibilities include managing corporate partnerships and overseeing the audio and visual production crew during the games. In his spare time, he is the vice president of Ocean Fire Co. #1 in Pt. Pleasant Beach as well as the head coach of the varsity ice hockey team at Pt. Pleasant Boro High School.  A life long Jersey Shore resident, Mike lives in Pt. Pleasant Beach with his wife Valerie, their sons Braden and Dylan, and dog Murphy.

Mike VanHise – Director of New Client Development

The 2009 season marks Mike’s fifth season in Minor League Baseball, all spent in the BlueClaws’ floral.  A 2004 Political Science graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, Mike’s primary duties include planning group events at the ballpark and coordinating the Group and Theme Nights.  He also organizes the BlueClaws’ “Piggy Back Game” program, which allows local teams to play games at FirstEnergy Park.  In his free time, Mike enjoys golfing, traveling, and can usually be caught watching the New England Patriots or the New York Mets.  Mike calls historic Toms River home, where he has resided all his life.

Rebecca Ramos – Director of Ticket Operations

This is Rebecca's fourth season with the BlueClaws overseeing all operational aspects of the box office. She has worked with the Bridgeport Bluefish, a non-affiliate squad in the independent league, where she spent four and half years working in their ticket office. She graduated from Liberty University in 2001 where she obtained her bachelor's degree in sports management and played Divison I softball for the Liberty Flames. Rebecca is originally from Long Island, New York. and currently resides in Brick.

After finishing an internship with the BlueClaws last season, Ross begins his first full season with the team as a Ticket Sales Manager.  His responsibilities include arranging group outings and season seat packages.  Ross graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a degree is Business Marketing.  He is a native of Fort Collins, Colorado who continues to root for his Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies back home.  Outside of work, he spends his time running, cycling, and watching movies.

Ryan begins his second season with the BlueClaws and first as a group sales manager following his assistantship during the ’08 season. He attended Youngstown State University where he ran division one track and graduated with a degree in General Business Administration. Ryan began his career in sports as an intern with the Mahoning Valley Thunder AF2 team in Youngstown Ohio. He was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio; he is an Ohio sports fan and especially loves Buckeye and YSU Penguin football. He currently resides in Lakewood with two of his fellow BlueClaws employees.

Hailing from the Lone Star State, Tom is in his second season with the BlueClaws.  After spending a season creating delicious food in the Food and Beverage Department and a few months keeping the Merchandise Store seat warm, he is now selling experiences for the ballpark.  He graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri in 2007 with a degree in Sports Management.  This Texan enjoys New Jersey’s fast pace lifestyle, and is proud to be a part of the BlueClaws organization.
